Rent the Theatre
The Garden Theatre is available for weddings, corporate events, meetings, private movie screenings, or any theatrical use you can dream of. The historic Garden Theatre offers a unique venue for your next event. The Garden Theatre seats 299 guests and has full production capabilities in-house, including a 12' x 24' screen with digital projector. The Garden Ballroom (located in the adjoined Roper Garden Building) can also be used for your reception with room for over 250 guests. Pricing packages begin at $500 and typically range from $750-$2,000 per event.

The unique setting of an atmospheric theatre will make your wedding day better than you ever imagined. With Romeo and Juliet balconies, twinkling stars in the ceiling, and full multi-media capabilities, the Garden Theatre is the perfect location to make the life-long commitment with the one you love. Packages begin at $1,200 and include audio and lighting equipment rental, plus your name on our historic marquee.

The Garden Theatre makes it easy to host your private or public film premiere. With our 12X24' movie screen and Blu-ray digital projector, your guests will be blown away by the quality and professionalism of your event. Screenings start at $600.

movies
Grab 298 of your closest friends and pick your favorite flick, because the Garden Theatre offers one of the coolest party ideas around. You can rent the entire theatre and show the movie of your choice (pending licensing availability). Perfect for birthday parties, graduations and reunions. You bring the people, we'll bring the popcorn! Packages begin at $600.

Corporate meetings don't have to take place in a hotel ballroom or conference facility. The Garden Theatre offers a unique meeting location with full multi-media capabilities of audio and lighting support, PowerPoint and internet on a 12'x24' screen from a 1080HD digital projector. Packages begin at $500.
Field trips
Enhance your curriculum with a live play, performance or movie experience. Dance with Orisi Risi's African Drumming and Culture as they tell tales of Africa through traditional storytelling and song. Sing along with Davey Rocker and the Barnyard Jam as larger than life puppets come to life on the stage. Or choose a movie that would bring your lesson plans to life. Our venue can be tailored to fit any grade level or curriculum connecting learning through arts of science, language arts, social studies, history, character development, multi-cultural, theater, music, and dance. Packages begin at $4/student, minimums apply.
tours
Learn the Garden Theatre's rich history with a personal backstage tour. These 45-minute tours an be booked as part of a field trip or as a standalone event. Free tours may take place throughout the summer, or you may request your own private tour starting at $2 per person (minimums apply).
