Summer Camps
In 2011 we had a great summer at the Garden Theatre with Karen Rugerio, Act III Acting Studio, and Joe Fatone! Over 80 kids enjoyed acting camps, improv and two productions -- Footloose and Disney's Jungle Book Kids.

2012 Summer Camps
2012 Summer Camps are now on sale! This year, in partnership with Karen Rugerio, we're offering a wide variety of camps for both children and adults.
ACT-ION STATION
June 11-15, 9am-12pm
Ages 4-8
ACT-ion Station is a dynamic camp exploring creative play, music and movement. Using rhythm and rhyme, kids will stage scenes from Mulan and Tarzan. This camp will be taught by Karen Rugerio.
Tuition: $200
IMPROV MANIA
June 11-15, 1-4pm
Ages 9-14
Improv Mania dives into techniques of improvisation for beginners and the skilled performer. Taught by Joe Fatone, Sr.

WIZARDS, MAGICIANS, PIRATES & PRINCESSES
June 18-22, 9am-12pm
Ages 4-8
Wizards, Magicians, Pirates & Princesses takes the student on a journey with exciting songs, movement, and acting from our favorite stories and fairytales. Taught by Karen Rugerio.
Tuition: $200
ABCS OF ACTING: KIDS ON CAMERA
June 18-22, 1-4pm
Ages 9-14
ABCSs of Acting is an inviting and fun environment to learn beginning acting and commercial techniques. Taught by Karen Rugerio.

BROADWAY LIGHTS: MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP
June 25-29, 9am-4pm
Ages 4-17
Broadway Lights is a full day, week-long camp exploring Broadway musicals and acting for the stage. The little guys and dolls will learn all about Broadway in their first mini-musical 101 Dalmatians. Teens and tweens will work on a cabaret presentation of song and dance from major musicals: Legally Blonde, Drowsy Chaperone, The Addams Family, Cabaret, Chicago, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Taught by Karen Rugerio.

YOUTH THEATRE PRODUCTION: OLIVER!
July 2-20, 9am-4pm
Performances: July 20 & 21 at 7pm, July 22 at 2pm
Ages 4-17The Youth Theatre Production of Oliver! is a three-week "Summer-Stock"-like program that gives students a chance to perform in a fully staged production musical – OLIVER! – complete with sets, props and costumes. No prior experience necessary, all levels are welcome. Learn the basics as you perform. The class is taught and directed by Karen Rugerio, and the set will be designed by Valencia College's Theatre Production class.

COMMERCIAL ACTING FOR ADULTS
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-8:30pm
June 19, 21, 26, 28, July 3, 5
Ages 18-108
For adults who would like to learn what on-camera commercial and live theatre acting is all about, this fun and comfortable workshop environment will provide the basics or upgrade some untapped skills. Includes scene work, monologues, on-camera commercial and film stage scripts.
