Our summer camps are for young theatre fans entering grades 1 through 12. Camps focus on developing performance abilities and encouraging a curiosity for theatre in a fun and supportive environment.
All courses are designed to build confidence, strengthen communication skills, develop imagination, and create a sense of community through collaboration.
Camps and themes vary each session for campers interested in joining multiple weeks!
- Camps are designed to meet the needs of all levels of experience.
- Campers are grouped by age in order to provide age-appropriate themes and instruction.
- Camps are taught by theatre professionals and teaching artists.
ONE WEEK CAMPS | (Entering 1st – 5th Grades)
Introduce the young artists in your life to the world of theatre!
All camps culminate with a final short showcase for family and friends on the last day of the session. Themes vary each session for campers interested in joining multiple weeks!
Disney’s Courage and Magic (Entering 1st – 2nd Grades)
June 4 – 8 | 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Discover the wind in your sails and how far you’ll go in this introductory camp celebrating Disney favorites including, Moana, Coco, and Frozen.
Camp Descendants (Entering 3rd – 5th Grades)
June 11 – 15 | 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The children of Disney villains are released from the Isle of the Lost. What could go wrong? Uncover your own “rotten core” through music and scenes from Disney’s Descendants.
Trolls and Friends (Entering 1st – 2nd Grades)
June 18 – 22 | 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
You’ll bring the colorful, hair-raising characters from Trolls, Madagascar, and Sing to life through creative stories, crafts, and costumes that are inspired by the Dreamworks animated movie.
NEW!! Disney’s Friend Like Me (Entering 1st – 2nd Grades)

Enjoy the magic of friendship! Work together to perform stories and songs from Disney favorites including Coco, Aladdin, Toy Story, Tangled, and more!
Superheroes Unite: Up, Up, and Away! (Entering 1st – 2nd Grades)
July 9 – 13 | 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Spiderman vs. Batman? Wonder Woman vs. Supergirl? Teen Titans vs. Miraculous. Your favorite heroes assemble to create a theatrical showdown featuring capes, spidey senses, high-flying crafts, and teamwork.
Adventures at Hogwarts (Entering 3rd – 5th Grades)
July 16 – 20 | 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Accio imagination! Get ready for an unforgettable adventure where wizards duel and magical creatures roam, inspired by J.K. Rowling’s classic book series.
Fierce Kids on Broadway (Entering 1st – 2nd Grades)
July 23 – 27 | 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Step out with confidence through memorable songs and scenes from shows with pint-sized leading characters such as Annie, School of Rock, Matilda, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The villain kids are back for more musical fun! You’ll learn high energy scenes, songs, and dance numbers from Disney’s Descendants series. Prepare to rock all-new ways to be W-I-C-K-E-D!
TWO WEEK CAMPS (Entering 3rd – 12th Grades)
Our two-week theatre camps are for students ready to develop skills and increase understanding in all areas of theatre.
Camp activities could include learning music, character development, choreography, and audition techniques with increased emphasis on developing student capacities as actors/creators, innovators, and creative collaborators.
Camps feature a showcase of material that is performed for family and friends at the end of camp.
Themes and curriculum vary each session for campers interested in joining multiple weeks!
#Broadway Bootcamp: Session A (Entering 7th – 12th Grades)
June 4 – 15 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Take your training to the next level! Students will hone singing, acting, and dancing skills while learning exciting production numbers straight from the Broadway stage. This is a chance for you to learn from the best of the best and become a triple threat performer.
Audition Prep (Entering 7th – 12th Grades)
June 18 – 29 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Looking to sharpen your audition skills? Preparing for college auditions? Interested in Thespian competitions? We’ve got you covered! Students will select material, discuss audition techniques, and participate in mock auditions. Students will leave with prepared material and the confidence to do well in their auditions!
Act It Out! (Entering 3rd – 6th Grades)
July 9 – 20 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Sing, dance, act, and rock out with the very latest Broadway has to offer. From the enormously popular Hamilton to perennial favorites like Billy Elliot and Wicked, this camp has something for every geek, rebel, and showstopper on Broadway.

PRODUCTION CAMPS | (Entering 3rd – 12th Grades)
This performance-based program provides an opportunity for theatre enthusiasts to join together to perform on the Garden Theatre stage. Production camps are the perfect solution for the passionate performer who’s looking to stay happy (and busy) over the summer. No auditions necessary to participate!
Each camp culminates in two performances for friends and family. Shows are directed and designed by theatre professionals and feature beautiful sets, costumes, lighting, and sound.
Seussical Jr. (Entering 3rd – 6th Grades)
June 4 – 29 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
“Oh, the thinks you can think” when all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters finally collide.
Seussical Jr. is an extravagant madcap romp into the fantastical world of one of the greatest minds in children’s literature. From the Tony-winning team, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, this colorful and wonderfully vibrant musical adventure brings all your favorite Seuss characters to life, including the Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, and even all the Whos in Whoville.
Seussical Jr. will perform on Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30 at 5:00 p.m.
The Addams Family: School Edition (Entering 7th – 12th Grades)
July 9 – August 3 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a normal family. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. But when the young man’s family comes to dinner, the events of one night will forever change the Addams’ family – a family so very different from your own – or maybe not.
The Addams Family: School Edition will perform on Friday, August 3 and Saturday, August 4 at 5:00 p.m.

EXTENDED DAY AVAILABLE
The Garden Theatre also offers extended day programming for parents who need more schedule flexibility. The extended day runs from 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Extended day programming is supervised and may include crafts, movies, or games.
Rates: $50 per week. Tuition may not be prorated.

- Additional camp t-shirts may be purchased for $10.00.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Camps may be rescheduled free of charge until 30 days prior to camp. Refunds will only be issued on cancellation requests made 30 days prior to the start of your camp session. A $25 administration fee is deducted from all refunds.There are no partial refunds for missed days of class.
