Rivera, the Tony-winning octogenarian with a theater resume a mile long, was guest of honor Saturday night at the Garden Theatre’s annual Encore gala. Ridge led a conversation with the star of such musicals as “Kiss of the Spider Woman” and “Chicago” — but it was just as much a concert as an interview.
