Gypsy, A Christmas Story and Billy Elliot: The Musical Will Bring Glamour, Nostalgia, and Laughs to Central Florida

Winter Garden, FL (January 23, 2018) – Garden Theatre (Nao Tsurumaki, Executive Director and Rob Winn Anderson, Artistic Director) announced today the seven productions to be offered as part of the Garden’s 2018-2019 theatrical season. The exciting season of extravagant stage adaptations, powerhouse musical productions, and regional premieres starts with the award-winning classic musical GYPSY opening August 24, 2018. New season subscriptions start at $84 and go on sale March 12, 2018 through the box office at 407-877-4736 ext. 0, and at Single tickets go on sale on May 1, 2018.

XANADU Tickets on Sale: Tuesday, January 16, 2018

WINTER GARDEN, FL (January 15, 2018) The Garden Theatre announced today the addition of Xanadu to its 2017-2018 season. Xanadu joins the previously announced shows The Lieutenant of Inishmore, A Tennessee Walk, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Xanadu performances begin Friday, July 6, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. with a limited run through Sunday, July 29, 2018.

Ancient mythology collides with the 1980s as the Greek muse Kira descends from Mount Olympus to Venice Beach, California. Forbidden love, pop music, and leg warmers rule as Kira inspires struggling artist Sonny to achieve the greatest artistic creation of his life –the world’s first ROLLER-DISCO!

Garden Theatre Holiday Hours

In observance of the holidays, the Garden Theatre Box Office will be closed December 24 through January 1, with the exception of December 30. On December 30, the Box Office will be open from 12pm to 4pm.  Normal Box Office hours will resume on January 2.

Hurricane Irma and Impact to Garden Theatre Operations

Friday, September 8, 2017:

In anticipation of Hurricane Irma, the Garden Theatre Box Office will be closed on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10. We will assess whether regular Box Office hours are resumed on Tuesday once the hurricane has passed and any potential damages can be evaluated.

Performances of Jesus Christ Superstar have been cancelled for September 9 and September 10 as well.
