Dance like you’ve never danced before! Flashdance: The Musical tells the inspiring and unforgettable story of 18-year-old Alex, a welder by day and ‘flashdancer’ by night, who dreams of becoming a professional dancer. When a romance complicates her ambitions, she harnesses it to drive her dreams.

Based on the Paramount Pictures film, Flashdance boasts an iconic score and pop hits including “Maniac,” “Gloria,” “I Love Rock ‘n Roll” and the sensational title track “Flashdance…What a Feeling.”

This production contains adult themes and language. We encourage you to use your judgment based on your child’s age and maturity level.

“It is amazing what happens on your relatively small stage. The talent you attract is amazing.” – Garden Theatre Guest

“This performance of Flashdance was a home run. Wow! Wow! Wow! The absolute best performance we have ever attended at any venue. Great show, great performers.” – Garden Theatre Guest

“Well, the dancing is a lot of fun, and there’s a lot of dancing. Depending on your age, you may have a certain fondness for songs such as “Maniac,” “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” “Gloria” and, of course the title track. Director Jani Walsh-Weber has assembled a strong cast to tell the story of Alex, a steelworker by day and exotic dancer by night who yearns to study at a prestigious ballet school. As Alex, Paxton Brock has a winning twinkle. Clay Cartland, as her boss/love interest has a super tenor, and Bradley D. Gale as a wannabe comedian is delightfully funny and a strong singer. Alex’s fellow dancers (Elisabeth Christie, Arielle Prepetit, and Alejandra Martinez) create lovely harmonies.” – Matt Palm, The Orlando Sentinel
