ROCK OF AGES takes you back to the time of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos, and sporting even bigger hair! This five-time Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical features the hits of bands Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, and more.

It’s the tail end of the big, bad 1980s in Hollywood, and the party has been raging hard. Aqua Net, Lycra, lace, and liquor flow freely at one of the Sunset Strips’ last legendary venues, where egotistic rock star Stacee Jaxx takes the stage, and scantily clad groupies line up to turn their fantasies into reality.

Amidst the madness, aspiring rock star Drew longs to take the stage as the next big thing (and longs for small-town girl Sherrie, fresh off the bus from Kansas with stars in her eyes). But the rock ‘n’ roll fairy-tale is about to end when German developers sweep into town with plans to turn the fabled Strip into just another capitalist strip mall. Can Drew, Sherri, and the gang save the Strip – and themselves – before it’s too late?

ROCK OF AGES is a big, energetic tribute to the classic rock of the ‘80s, featuring all of your favorite rock anthems and power ballads, including: “We’re Not Going to Take It,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” “The Final Countdown,” “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” and “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

The ’80s rock ‘n’ roll culture was not PG-13 and neither is this show. Adult situations and language.

Audience Reviews

“I was completely blown away by the talent of this cast!”   ~Paige Bryant – Influencer
“It was such a fun show to attend!”   ~Made In Orlando

“The jukebox musical brought the audience to their feet multiple times throughout the night, as they fist pumped and sang along to the cast’s renditions of such ‘80s rock anthems and power ballads as Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again,” REO Speedwagon’s “I Can’t Fight This Feeling” and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin,’” the rousing finale which demanded an encore.” ~ WKMG ClickOrlando

“A cast of Broadway stars and regional performers, including the standout Sherrie, played by Diana Huey, round out the show with an enthusiasm that’s impossible to contain to the stage, complete with light shows, aerial choreography, a smoke machine and a live band to rock out with.” ~ WKMG ClickOrlando

“…Cardona…can hit jaw-droopingly high notes seemingly without breaking a sweat, and he and Huey, who packs a mean rock belt herself, create thrilling blends on classics such as Damn Yankees’ “High Enough.””     ~ Matt Palm, Orlando Sentinel

Audio Described Performances

Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2:00pm

In partnership with Central Florida’s  Audio Description Initiative, audio description is available for select performances throughout the season allowing audience members who are blind or have low vision to enjoy live performing arts.

Using a headset connected to a receiver, patrons can listen throughout the performance as trained audio describers provide live, verbal descriptions of actions, costumes, scenery, and other visual elements of a performance. Audio describers start pre-show notes approximately 15 minutes before the performance begins.

A limited number of audio description receivers are available per performance and we recommend reserving one at the time of ticket purchase by contacting the box office at or by calling 407-877-4736 during business hours. Response time is usually less than one business day.
